Community Fund is LIVE… & SNAP Updates

Dear Friends,

Writing with an update on our SNAP/HIP status:

• Our SNAP machine is now slated to arrive next Thursday, 1/27. We will be able to start accepting SNAP payments as soon as that arrives and we set it up.

• HIP status is still under consideration by the DTA. We are still in close communication with them and other relevant agencies and hope to find a resolution soon. I’ll keep you updated here when I have more info!

• In the meantime, our Community Fund is open! Thank you SO much to those who have donated so far. You can donate here or in person at the store, and every little bit helps. If you would like to use Community Funds to pay for HIP-eligible goods, just ask at the register and we’ll apply them to your order. Anyone who asks will be able to use up to $40 per purchase on fresh fruit/veggies and other HIP-eligible products.

• You will still have your HIP dollars to spend at another local farm or market! You can use the DTAFinder site to locate a HIP location near you. We also have printed info for some nearby spots— just ask at the register and we’ll give you a copy!
